Don't wait, the funding for these programs expire June 30, 2013! Now is the time to take advantage of utility company rebates or up to $5,000 through the NJ Home Performance with Energy Star Program for high efficiency air conditioners, furnaces, boilers and heat pumps. The programs can be VERY confusing and change often. New Jersey homeowners will have until June 30, 2013 to receive up to $5,000 in financial incentives (not to exceed 50% of the total project cost of the eligible measures). PSE&G Customers

Warm Advantage Program offers the following rebates on high efficiency equipment that meets specific efficiency requirements: $250 for furnaces, $300 for boilers, $500 water heaters and and up to $900 if you purchase a combination. For those affected by Hurricane Sandy, an additional $200 per unit will be added to the rebate levels shown for purchases made on or after October 29, 2012. *Funding is available through June 30, 2013 or until funds are exhausted.

Cool Advantage Program offers rebates up to $500 for Ductless Mini-Split A/C System >= SEER* 16 and EER 13 (+$200 see Sandy Relief below). Rebates for high-efficiency central air conditioners and electric heat pumps (16/13 Seer) expired on February 23, 2013, with the exception of customers whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy who will still qualify for the incentive. Sandy Relief provides an additional $200 per unit added to the rebate levels shown for ductless mini-split A/C system purchases made on or after October 29, 2012. *Funding is available through June 30, 2013 or until funds are exhausted.
